BEC Supporters

Gosford City Council and Wyong Shire Council

The Central Coast Business Enterprise Centre (CCBEC) has been proudly supported by both Councils since its inception in 1998.

The financial support of Council is very much appreciated and has given CCBEC the opportunity to offer established Central Coast businesses a Business Mentor.

Our Business Mentors are all volunteers who give their time freely to assist business on the Central Coast to grow and prosper. Our mentors are qualified, experienced and enthusiastic men and women who act as professional ‘sounding boards’ to business owners who are looking to expand their business or experiencing difficulties.

Industry and Investment (I & I)

The Central Coast Business Enterprise Centre is under contract and has been proudly supported by I & I since 2000. Over the years CCBEC has developed an excellent business relationship with I & I and independent research has resulted in very high satisfaction ratings between I & I Contractors and their business clients.

Essentially, under the I & I Contract CCBEC gives information and assistance to clients intending to start a business. This information includes assistance with start-up business facilitation, business planning, information on Government regulation, business workshops and much more.

CCBEC’s qualified and experienced facilitators are all former self-employed business people with a wealth of business knowledge. Most importantly, our facilitators ask business clients the ‘right’ questions so clients can thoroughly consider and research important aspects of their intended business idea BEFORE they commit to Business Purchases, Lease Agreements, Business Loans, etc.

Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (AusIndustry)

The services provided by the Central Coast Business Enterprise Centre are partially funded by the Australian Government
In a recently-announced Australian Government initiative, CCBEC has entered into a Funding Agreement with AusIndustry. This agreement results in yearly recurrent funding to CCBEC for the next 4 years. CCBEC is very excited with this new funding because it can now offer the Central Coast Business Community a greater range of services, in greater depth. In short, this new funding gives CCBEC the opportunity to operate as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for local business.

The services offered as a result of the AusIndustry funding include Mentoring for New Business, FREE* Legal and Accounting Services, Leasing Guidance, assistance with simple Marketing Plans, information on Loans and Banking Products, Women in Business, National Referrals and much more.
